Mr. Abhijit Midha

Abhijit Midha joined Tata Consumer Products in December 2023 and currently heads Strategy and M&A globally. Over the last two years, Abhijit has led multiple strategy engagements and closed large acquisitions for Tata Consumer.

Abhijit has nearly 20 years of experience across consulting, investing and operational roles including leading large scale transformation engagements across India, Europe, US and the Middle East. Prior to Tata Consumer, Abhijit was a Senior Vice President at Zomato – heading the Key Accounts P&L comprising about 25% of the food delivery business for Zomato.

Abhijit has over 11 years of Private Equity investing experience across Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI) and Premji Invest, where he led transactions across Consumer & Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services sectors, deploying nearly USD 1 billion of capital and delivering multiple successful exits.

Abhijit started his career with McKinsey & Company, where he led cross-functional engagements for large clients across India, Europe and North America in sectors such as Financial Services, Consumer and Industrials, across topics such as Sales Force transformation, Market Entry strategy, Pricing, and Performance acceleration.

Abhijit graduated from IIT Delhi in 2004 where he secured the Institute Silver Medal, and is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, batch of 2006.
