Mr. P. B. Balaji

Mr. P.B. Balaji has been serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Tata Motors Limited (“TML”) since November 2017. He is a member of the Executive Committee of TML and plays a key role in TML Group’s profitable and sustainable growth journey. He is also on the boards of Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Plc - UK, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, Tata Motors Finance Group, Air India Limited, Titan Company Limited, Tata Consumer Products Limited, Agratas Limited – UK and Agratas Energy Storage Solutions Private Limited.

With three decades of experience in the corporate sector, Mr. Balaji is a seasoned global finance professional who has worked across the FMCG and Automotive industries. He started his career at Unilever in 1995, where he held different senior positons in corporate finance and supply chain in India, Singapore, UK, and Switzerland. Prior to joining Tata Motors, Mr. Balaji was the Chief Financial Officer of Hindustan Unilever Limited.

Mr. Balaji holds a post-graduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
