Mr. Sharat Verma
Sharat Verma joined Tata Consumer Products in December 2025 as President – Packaged Beverages, comprising the Tata Tea, Tata Coffee and Organic India portfolios. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G’s) Fabric Care business across India, the Middle East, and Africa. An accomplished General Manager, Sharat built and grew iconic brands, such as Ariel, Tide, Downy, Gillette, Oral-B, Safeguard, Old Spice, and Olay. He began his career in Sales at Henkel and Gillette.
Sharat has over two decades of experience spanning category leadership, business strategy and sales and marketing. He is widely recognized for driving sustainable growth and building powerful brands, having led award-winning global campaigns and pioneered consumer insight-driven initiatives, like Ariel #SharetheLoad, which connected brands with societal narratives to deliver both commercial success and brand equity.
He graduated from the University of Delhi with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and earned his MBA in Marketing from the International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi.
